Cat Rescue Network
Ottawa, Ontario
Based on Ottawa, Ontario, Cat Rescue Network (CRN) is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization established in 1999 that is committed to rescuing abandoned and feral cats overlooked by the city's animal welfare services. As we do not have a facility, all of the cats we rescue live with volunteers in thier homes (foster families) until they are adopted. Due to our lack of "overhead", we are able to put all donations towards the medical bills of our rescues.

Country Cat Sanctuary
Ottawa, Ontario
Here at "Country Cat Sanctuary" my aim is to find homes for the abandoned cats I rescue. Regardless of how long it takes, I will find each cat a new home with someone who will provide it with loving care and attention for the rest of its natural life. When I place a cat in your home, I want to ensure that you and your cat will enjoy many happy years to-gether. However, if the adoption dosen't work out (or if the adopter must give up the cat at any time) "Country Cat Sanctuary" will willingly take the cat back and find another suitable home.

Friends of Abandoned Pets
Box 67052, Ottawa, Ontario
More than two years ago, we advised our supporters that Friends of Abandoned Pets was curtailing its work to deal solely with the cats and dogs already in our care. This was mainly due to a larger number of pets already in foster homes, an unprecedented number of previously adopted pets being returned to our care and fewer volunteers to manage the organization's day-to-day tasks.
