What is Wildlife?Wildlife management and conservation is the practice of protecting wildlife resources so as to balance the needs of wildlife with the needs of humans.
There are two type of management. Manipulative management, which focuses on altering populations, can include culling, introducing predators, or changing available food supplies. Custodial management is more preventative and "hands off", such as that found in a National Park where nature is allowed to take its course with minimal external influences.
