Students learn about the various technical writing styles, and the principles of clear, concise writing in a technical environment for specific discourse communities. Technical editing and grammar are designed to teach the role of professional editors in the contemporary workplace and introduces the principles, symbols and methods of copyediting and substantive editing.
Graphical illustration courses teach the principles of technical illustration that make documents effective and attractive.
