Labour studies graduates often find jobs as union organizers, public relations specialists, human resource consultants, mediators, journalists, or government officials in departments related to unemployment, job creation or workers’ benefits. They may pursue careers in labour relations, personnel, social policy, environmental studies, and community development. Labour studies majors may also choose to pursue postgraduate work in a wide range of disciplines, including political science, industrial relations, sociology, human resource management, history, women's studies, law or psychology.
