A program in IT provides the students with the necessary skills to study, design, develop, implement, and manage computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware. Students learn a broad range of technologies including web, database, and networking technologies; they also learn innovative and creative infrastructure integration techniques. This includes integrating the different technologies for interoperability, Writing database queries and applications using SQL and stored procedures, configuring and administering a secure networked environment, and setting up web server environments for installing applications requiring a web interface.
Students learn the conceptual and functional design and development of computer-based systems for information support.
