Prerequisites for Graduate Studies in Engineering Physics |
Admission to a graduate-level program in EP requires a previous degree in a related discipline (eg. engineering, physics) with a minimum B+ average (in some cases this must be an honors degree). Some schools also require some form of advanced experience in an EP environment (eg. co-op, directed studies, out-of-school employment, etc).
Admission to a PhD program can either be directly from an undergraduate degree (with an exceptional average and demonstrated research ability), or after acquiring a relevant Master's-level degree.
As all graduate programs require a supervisor, most schools require this person to be approved prior to final admission.
