Completion of high school is required for admission to most diploma and certificate programs in computer engineering, with the completion (and an average of at least 60%) of English, math, and physics. Computer literacy is an asset. Upgrading options are usually available for those who have not completed high school or are missing prerequisites.
For undergraduate degree programs in computer engineering, completion of high school is once again a requirement, with an average of at least 75%. Generally, English, calculus, and physics are required. Computer science is recommended.
