To get into the Master's-level program students must have an undergraduate degree in a related field such as mathematics or computer science with at least a B+ average. Relevant work experience is considered an asset. PhD program admission requires a Master's-level degree in computational mathematics. Some schools allow direct entry from an undergraduate computational mathematics program provided the student has high academic marks (A-). In all cases the supervisor must be chosen prior to final admission.
