Many classics undergraduates choose to pursue further education in order to meet their career goals: thus future teachers would seek an education degree, or those considering a museum career would pursue graduate work in museum and curatorial studies. Still others might move on to the law, religious studies or archaeology after completing a B.A. in classics. It is not always necessary to pursue further study to get a job, but those options should be considered if one is interested in work related to this field of study. Waterloo’s Jobs and Careers in Classical Studies and Medieval Studies page is a good starting point: http://arts.uwaterloo.ca/~lneuru/advisor/career.htm Trent University’s 'What Can I Do With My Studies In Ancient History and Classics?' is another helpful site: http://www.trentu.ca/careers/students/documents/AncientHisandClassics-complete.pdf
