New York City College of Technology was established in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. It has 336 full-time and 701 part-time faculty members and nearly 30,000 students. It offers 17 baccalaureates programs, 29 associate degree programs, and 13 certificate programs.
