Finger Lakes Community College is based in the city of Canandaigua in New York State, USA. It was established in 1965 and first opened its doors to students in 1967. The program consists of general education courses, legal specialties, electives, office technologies and an internship. A student must complete a minimum of 68 credit hours with a grade point average of not less than 2.0 or a C to graduate. They must also have a minimum typing competency of 35 wpm. The Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of College and School accredits Finger Lakes Community College.
