Daymar College is a career training school and was established in 1963 as Owensboro Business College. It was mainly a business school at the time. Over the years more courses were added and it was renamed Daymar College in 2001. It now has four campuses, the main one being in Owensboro, Kentucky. The college offers more than 35 career oriented courses covered in day and evening classes as well as online classes. The Paralegal Studies program prepares you to become a successful paralegal. The course trains you to perform paralegal duties such as drafting legal documents, conducting legal research and preparing trial notes. Upon completion of the course you are ready to enter the legal profession as a paralegal in any law related office like a private law agency, government office or insurance company. The course not only teaches you the theoretical aspects of being a paralegal but gives you practical experience through their internship programs and other training programs. The Daymar College Career Services staff helps you to prepare for your career. To get admission into Daymar College you need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, must complete an Admission Evaluation and also an admission application and enrollment contract.
