Cuyahoga Community College is situated in the state of Ohio, USA. The college came into being in 1963. It has three main campuses - the Metropolitan Campus in Cleveland, the eastern campus at Highland Hills and the western campus at Parma as well as numerous other centers. It offers more than a 1000 courses and caters to around 55,000 students per year. The Paralegal Studies Program at Cuyahoga Community College consists of an associate’s degree; two postgraduate certificates and a refresher course. The two-year Associate Degree of Applied Business in Paralegal Studies is meant for those with no previous degree. The post-degree Certificate in Paralegal Studies is a one-year course for students who have completed their Associate, Bachelors or Master degrees. The Post-Degree Professional Certificate in Legal Nurse Consulting is a one-year program for registered nurses who wish to join the legal field. The refresher course is the Paralegal Educator's Consortium that prepares students for the Ohio Paralegal Certification Examination. All courses are approved by the American Bar Association. Students applying for the Associates degree need to take a one hour Paralegal Critical Thinking Test to be admitted. Class size is small and can be scheduled for days, evenings and weekends at the Parma Campus.
