Date: Monday, October 17th Time 2:30pm to 4:00pm Location: Scotiabank Conference Theatre, Sobey Building Dr. Walden Bello is an internationally renowned scholar and activist. Currently professor of sociology and public administration at the University of the Philippines, he has written numerous books and articles on economic globalization, multilateral economic organizations, and the alter-globalization movement, including most recently Dilemmas of Domination: the Unmaking of the American Empire and Deglobalization: Ideas for a New Economy. Dr. Bello is also founder of the Bangkok-based research and advocacy institute Focus on the Global South.
