September 28, 2005 Source: Nipissing University: http://www.nipissingu.ca/news/view.asp?ID=29 Nipissing University biology society hosting Biodiversity Day North Bay, ON, September 28, 2005 — Nipissing University's Biology Society is hosting Biodiversity Day on Saturday, October 1. It is a chance for students and community members to enjoy nature while cataloguing the flora and fauna found on campus. Registrants can hike at their own pace through the university's 20 km of forested trails, enjoying the fall colours while classifying as many different species of plants and animals as they encounter. Registration takes place from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. behind the university at the pond and individuals can begin their hike as soon as they are registered.
