The race, that is set to begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, will see 22 solar cars travelling 3,021 kilometres from Darwin to Adelaide, using only energy derived from the sun. SunStang is the only team in the competition from Ontario. The team's project manager, Imran Atcha, can be reached at 011 61 410207925 until late tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, September 24. The goal of the Challenge is to promote and celebrate educational and technical excellence, drawing attention to the importance of sustainable transport.
