The event is being held as part of a larger event to celebrate I Love MUNdays. Open to the public, the International Bazaar is an opportunity to try something different for lunch - like authentically prepared food from India, Thailand, the Middle East, Africa, China and local Newfoundland food. You will also find a wide assortment of unique items for sale such as handmade jewelry from Kenya and silk scarves from China. You could even have your hands custom decorated with Henna, an Indian and Middle Eastern tradition. The public are welcome to attend the International Bazaar to experience the world to try something different for lunch or buy a special souvenir. It will be held on the Third Floor of the Smallwood Centre at the Memorial University St. John’s campus on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Free parking will be available to the public in Lots 16 and 16A west of the building.
