She graduates this Sunday (Oct. 22) from the University of Ottawa, and at the ceremony will officially be presented with the Governor General's Gold Medal for writing an outstanding and extensive research paper on taxi drivers in Toronto. She is a graduate of the Master of Arts (MA) program in Atlantic Canada Studies (ACS) at Saint Mary's and will be teaching at the University starting this spring.
