This scholarship is open to all students beginning an undergraduate degree program on either campus. Recipients are selected based on scholastic attainment. The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for the first year and is renewable at $5,000 for three additional years. Shannon Margaret Carmont of Hartland, N.B., is a graduate of Hartland High School and is currently enrolled in the science program on the university’s Fredericton campus. Ms. Carmont is the daughter of John and Wanda Carmont. Justin Donald Stewart, a graduate of Simonds High School in Saint John, N.B. is currently enrolled in the business administration program and will be attending UNB Saint John. The university and its donors are pleased to provide financial support to students through the granting of scholarships.
