The day will feature hands-on demonstrations, lively classroom discussions and lectures, athletic and recreational challenges, stimulating and informative displays, and much more. Students, staff and faculty members will welcome high school students, parents and guidance counsellors and share what makes Dalhousie the vibrant place that it is. The Open House will also feature an academic EXPO, a discovery fair featuring over 70 display booths that will take place in the McInnes Room of the Student Union Building on University Ave. The EXPO will provide future students, current students, parents and visitors with a wealth of information about Dalhousie’s extensive program choices and career opportunities. They will also learn about new and popular courses, such as the History of Sexuality, the Rock’n’Roll Era and Beyond, Youth Crime, Entrepreneurship, Science Fiction and Computer Graphics.
