Kushner, whose other honours include two Tony Awards and an Emmy Award, will deliver the convocation address. Fall convocation ceremonies take place daily from Monday, Nov. 13, to Friday, Nov. 17. Former Ontario premier David Peterson will be installed as chancellor at the Monday convocation; prominent researchers and entrepreneurs will speak at the other ceremonies, as approximately 3,700 students receive their degrees. The schedule of honorary degree recipients and speakers is: Monday, Nov. 13, 3:30 p.m. Installation of chancellor David Peterson, former Ontario premier. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 6:00 p.m. Linda Schuyler, CEO, Epitome Pictures Inc., will address the graduates. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 6:00 p.m. Tony Kushner, Pulitzer prize-winning playwright and dramatist, will receive an honorary doctor of letters degree. Thursday, Nov. 16, 6:00 p.m. Garry Leonard, professor of English at the University of Toronto at Scarborough, will address the graduates. Friday, Nov. 17, 9:30 a.m. Cynthia Goh, chemistry professor and inventor, will address the graduates. Friday, Nov. 17, 2 p.m. Stanley Zlotkin, professor of pediatrics and nutritional sciences, will address the graduates.
