The event is open to the public. Banishing Verona is the suspenseful story of Zeke and Verona, lovers who begin an affair only to be abruptly separated. Alice Sebold (The Lovely Bones) says that the novel "radiates with compassion and intelligence and always, deliciously, mystery." Margot Livesey has been previously recognized by critics and fans for her international bestseller Eva Moves the Furniture. She is the author of several other novels, including Criminals and The Missing World, and an award-winning collection of short stories, Learning by Heart. Ms. Livesey has taught in writing programs at the Iowa Writer's Workshop, the University of California at Irvine, and most recently Emerson College.
