Dalhousie University's Master of Electronic Commerce is a unique multi-disciplinary program comprised of education in computer science, law, and management, and is primarily designed for individuals aspiring to a career in the emerging eBusiness sector. The Program, which may be completed in 1 and a half years, is aimed at providing students with 'a strong background and cutting edge knowledge in essential areas' of eBusiness and features 8-10 one term courses, an internship in a business or government setting, and a research project or thesis. The Program is offered on a full-time or part-time basis and the new student intake is limited to 35 per year.
