The Sobey School of Business of Saint Mary's University offers the Part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA), a 40-month program designed for individuals who aspire to advance their respective academic and career credentials thereby opening up further graduate-level study and/or employment opportunities but who want to remain in full-time employment while they learn. The Program will expose students to a wide array of business fundamentals, concepts, subject areas, and theories and provide them with the ability to concentrate their studies on 1 of 7 areas of student including Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Management Consulting, Marketing, and Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, students will be required to complete either a Management Consulting Project (MCP) or Management Research Project (MRP) and 'participate in a variety of' non-credit 'events that link them to the business community' to further develop their 'managerial and decision-making skills.' Interested students may also complete the pre-requisites for a Canadian Association of Management Consultants' (CAMC's) CMC designation while earning their respective MBAs.
