The University of Ottawa's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to offer students 'a strong foundation in all management disciplines' while simultaneously developing their respective inter-personal and management skills and 'ability to view and analyze issues, opportunities and situations from a strategic perspective' thus enabling them to become responsible, pro-active 'agents of change.' The Program is offered as a thesis-based option or as an on- campus option on both a full-time basis over 12 months and on a part-time schedule over 36 months; students are also afforded the opportunities to have their respective programs taught as a part-time exchange option over 28 months with 1 month spent studying in France or as a full-time, 40-month accelerated combined MBA/Law degree. Students may also select whether they want their program taught in English or French. The Program will supply students with opportunities to both witness, first-hand, 'the complex and significant relationships between business and government' through 'interaction with national and international executives and public figures' thereby providing students with a unique look at what is 'required to become a successful leader.' Additionally, students will have the ability to directly and/or indirectly apply management consulting services to 'an issue or a problem of importance being faced by a private or public organization' via a partnership program between the University and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC).
