Laurentian University' Master of Business Administration (MBA) program aims to offer students 'an integrated management education using case method instruction and experience-oriented situations which' will necessitate the development and 'use of effective management skills and techniques.' Students may earn their respect degrees via 1 of 2 formats including the General MBA, which requires students to successfully complete 20 courses (15 compulsory and 5 electives) and the Thesis Stream MBA, which consists of both course-work and applied research, and which allows students to specialize in 1 of 5 areas of concentration including Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, and Policy. Whichever format is selected, students may complete their respective MBA programs in 2-years on a full-time basis or over 8-years on a part-time schedule, and students will be able to take courses as 3-hour 'evening sessions once per week' or as intensive weekends 'for 4 weeks per course' from May to July.
