Brock University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed for individuals aspiring to advance and enhance their respective business knowledge and credentials and career opportunities. The Program's main objective is to further students' knowledge of the 'functional areas of business' while providing them with the opportunity to specialize in either Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or Marketing. More generally, students will be able to develop, advance, and sharpen their communication, inter-personal, leadership, management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, particularly as they relate to 'information-based technological workplaces,' as well as their abilities to 'integrate knowledge across disciplines and in the context of a global environment.' Students with limited work-related experience will be provided with the opportunity to garner such experience via co-operative learning and/or internships. The MBA program may be completed in either 2 years, on a full-time basis, or in up to 6 years, on a part-time schedule, and students possessing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce are eligible 'to obtain advanced standing into the second year (terms 3 and 4) of the program.'
