The University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business, in cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) at Shanghai, China, offers the International Master of Business Association (IMBA), a program designed to provide students with 'a general management perspective based on a solid understanding of key business functional areas and their interdependence,' primarily, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Managerial Economic, and Statistics. The aim of the Program is to graduate individuals who possess 'a broad-based, senior-level strategic approach to business decision-making' and 'complex business challenges.' With the exception of 2 weeks of mandatory study at UBC in Vancouver, the Program is delivered at SJTU by UBC faculty and consists of an Integrated Core followed by a series of part-time post-core modules.. Upon successful completion of the Program, graduates will receive an IMBA degree from UBC.
