The University of Alberta's Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business is a 2-year program 'designed to address managerial issues that are relevant to doing business across national boundaries, while incorporating the necessary basics of business.' The Program will expose students to a wide array of business concepts, theories, and skills while allowing them to specialize in International Business via 'international business courses, MBA electives, and an international business research project.' Moreover, students will have the opportunity to "internationalize" their respective educational experiences and degrees through either an International Study Tour or an exchange program such as the Double Degree Program which 'is a special arrangement between the University of Alberta and a trio of selected higher-level business schools in France and Mexico.' Graduates of the MBA in International Business will be 'innovative, aggressive, critical-thinking, problem-solving managers able to compete successfully in' the globalize economy.
