Brock University's Master of Business Administration (International Student Program) is a 16-month program designed for international students, particularly those who have earned a bachelor degree outside of North America and/or completed studies primarily in a language other than English, who want to advance and enhance their respective business knowledge and credentials and career opportunities. In the first two semesters of the Program, students will be exposed to the broad 'aspects of management and functional areas of business' while in the final two semesters students will be able to specialize and gain expertise in either Finance or Marketing. Additionally, a four-week English-as-a-Second-Language program in which students are taught the basics of 'reading, writing, listening and speaking' English required to succeed in both graduate-level studies in Canada and in 'the North American business environment' is mandatory. Although to be considered for admittance into the Program students may possess an undergraduate degree in any discipline, the University recommends that applicants have a basic introductory knowledge of calculus and statistics.
