The Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA, jointly offer the Kellogg-Schulich Executive Master of Business Administration, an 18-month program designed to advance the managerial knowledge and skills of professional executives and managers. The Program's curriculum is general management-oriented and thus will cover 'all key management functions' integrating them 'into a focus on leadership and strategic management.' Students will be exposed to the latest 'management research' and 'practical issues' facing modern corporations through which participants will develop skills related to strategic and '"big-picture" thinking, the application of sophisticated analytical or quantitative models, and the subtleties of leading in cross-cultural, diverse environments.' To enable students to work full-time while they learn, the Program's classes will be held on alternating weekends with the exception of 2 mandatory residence periods, one at York and one at Northwestern, and an International Study Trip. Upon successful completion of the Program, students will receive a Joint Kellogg-Schulich MBA on which will be present the seals of both participating universities.
