The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) offered by the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario is an 18-month program providing professional executives with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and abilities through a curriculum that emphasizes the 'key areas of executive leadership - general management, business environment and personal leadership.' Students will develop an in-depth 'general management perspective on the business issues of today with an integrated global outlook.' In order to allow students to work full-time while they learn, the Program's classes take place on the weekend 'with the exception of two mandatory in-residence periods,' and students will be required to complete 2 major group-based projects intended to 'help pull everything together' that which the students have learned.
