The John Molson School of Business at Concordia University offers the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), a 20-month program designed for professional executive and managers which aims to 'cultivate in each candidate the approaches, skills, traits, and attitudes that are essential prerequisites to the assumption of the executive role in any organization.' For the duration of the Program, the year's incoming class will remain together in all courses; in order to allow students to work full-time while they learn, classes will be held 'on alternate Fridays and Saturdays' with the exception of a 10-day international study trip in May during which students will usually 'visit three countries and meet with managers, government officials, and academics to understand the business environment of those countries, as well as carry out a team project.' Among EMBA programs, John Molson School of Business's EMBA has been ranked number 1 in Quebec, number 3 in Canada, and among the top 43 worldwide by the Financial Times of London, one of the world leaders in international business news.
