We have immediate opportunities for experienced licensed Lawyers or licensed Paralegals to teach our Paralegal, Law Clerk and Legal Assistant curriculum at our Kitchener campus.

Responsibilities As the successful candidate you will provide quality delivery of assigned courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment.
You will be responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.

Experience and Qualifications The successful candidate must be a licensed Lawyer or licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. 3-5 years practical experience is mandatory. Ideally you will have experience with matters in small claims court, civil litigation, contract law and employment law. In addition preference will be given if you have Real Estate Law experience as well as experience in Civil & Family Law and Wills & Estates. Proficiency in a variety of legal software programs is essential including PC Law and DIVORCEmate. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.
This position will be considered a permanent part-time opportunity. Hours of work will be 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon) or 1 p.m. â?? 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
