Overview

Varcon Inc. is a consulting civil engineering firm specializing in the provision of engineering services to the telecommunications industry.

We have immediate openings for Civil Engineers in the following branch offices:
- Fredericton, NB
- Edmonton, AB
- Burnaby, BC

Responsibilities

Upon completion of our extensive training program, responsibilities will include:

- Engineering Inspections of Communication Towers
- Structural Mapping, Analysis & Design
- Engineering reports (Inspection, analysis, etc.)

Experience and Qualifications

- Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering (Minimum)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
- Competency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Must demonstrate Positive Attitude, High Energy, Attention to Detail and Technical Competency
- Must be Self Motivated, Eager, Industrious, Quick Learner and Team Player
- Knowledge of structural software is an asset
- Ability to climb towers (physically fit, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors and travel with a partner
