Position responsibilities The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the operation of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring the safe and efficient running of the store, both operationally and administratively. They provide exceptional customer service and act as a role model for other staff in all areas of the business. In conjunction with the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager ensures that all staff are aware of current promotions, contests, spiffs as well as individual and team quotas. They are responsible for meeting personal sales targets and assisting the Store Manager in conducting product, selling skills and operational training for all staff.

Experience and Qualifications

You must have superior personal selling and customers service skills along with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a retail environment, in a leadership role.
