SaskPower is looking for enthusiastic Mechanical or Civil Engineers to join the Power Production Business Unit Engineer-In-Training (EIT) training program. The purpose of the EIT training program is to provide new Engineers with the opportunities to learn the various aspects of engineering in electrical power generation. As an EIT, you will be assigned to power generation plants or engineering support groups, for terms of approximately 12 to 18 months. The EIT training program is designed to maximize your development; as a result, you will relocate to alternate locations, within the Power Production Business Unit, every 12 to 18 months. Experience and Qualifications Our ideal candidates will be completing their final year of engineering studies, or have degrees in Mechanical, Industrial Systems or Civil engineering, must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, and will have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates under consideration will be required to participate in assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, abilities test, case study and/or presentation.
