The Engineer, Protection Design is responsible for the development, design, installation/ commissioning support and operational technical support of protection and recording systems to ensure adequate protection and safe operation of the electrical facilities. This includes the prevention or limiting of damage to equipment and maintaining effective customer service. Experience and Qualifications

The successful applicant will have a University degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Power Systems. You must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. You possess extensive experience in power system engineering field and have a high level of experience with the application of protective relaying systems on transmission and generation facilities. You are known for strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills and have the ability to lead projects in a changing environment. Candidates possessing less than qualifications noted above may also be considered.
