SaskPower is currently looking for an Emissions Planning Engineer to join our Planning, Environment and Regulatory Affairs area. We are seeking a motivated, energetic individual to develop, implement and administer business processes allowing SaskPower to effectively manage SaskPower's current and future emission profile. This individual will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the regulatory environment including investigating compliance options for greenhouse gas and other emissions and will assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive and ongoing strategy for mitigating SaskPower's current and future emissions profile. Experience and Qualifications Our successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering with several years related engineering experience. Your technical background must include experience in the design, construction, operations, commissioning, and contract management of planning facilities. You are known for your strong project management skills, leading multiple projects from start to finish, and have expertise in project scheduling and engineering economic analysis. Candidates must be eligible for membership with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and have strong interpersonal and communication. Candidates under consideration will be requested to participate in an assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, abilities test, case study and/or presentation.
