Overview If you enjoy designing, managing and leading projects we have an engineering opportunity for you. SaskPower is looking for an electrical engineer to join a multi discipline engineering environment to coordinate and implement capital improvement projects at SaskPower's generating facilities. You will use your technical expertise to prepare technical studies, business cases, specifications, and equipment and construction drawings ensuring effective engineering solutions are implemented to enhance operation and maintenance of our facilities.

Experience and Qualifications Your specialized history includes a university degree in electrical or electronic systems engineering and you must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. You possess several years experience in heavy electrical power and distributed control systems and have a background of leading and managing simultaneous projects in a changing environment. You are an innovative thinker with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions. You are known for your strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to use a consultative approach to achieve goals. Preference will be given to candidates possessing their professional engineer designation and project management professional designation. Applicants with a bachelor's degree in engineering who have less than the required qualifications may also be considered.
