Overview Temporary full-time to October 2, 2015 SaskPower is looking for a temporary Engineer, Engineering SCADA to research, develop and implement tasks, methodologies and practices for the corporation. As a member of SaskPower's management team, this position is responsible for assisting with and/or preparing technical studies, business cases, designs, specifications, tender evaluations, and equipment for SCADA facilities and for assisting with the operation of the SCADA system, including participating on the "on-call" roster. The individual in this position will participate in the implementation of the NERC cyber security standards and ongoing requirements and for keeping abreast of technological developments and introduce new technology into the SCADA area where benefits are evident.

Experience and Qualifications Successful applicants will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), and have strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic systems engineering.
