Overview 1 - Electrical - first rotation at Shand Power Station in Estevan 1 - Electrical - first rotation at Queen Elizabeth Power Station in Saskatoon Are you ready to apply the skills and knowledge you've gained through your engineering studies and make a contribution to Saskatchewan's future power generation, transmission and distribution? SaskPower is looking for enthusiastic Electrical Engineers to join the Operations Engineer-In-Training (EIT) training program. The purpose of the EIT training program is to provide new Engineers with the opportunities to learn the various aspects of engineering in electrical power generation, transmission and distribution. As an EIT, you will be assigned to power generation plants or engineering support groups, for terms of approximately 12 to 18 months. The EIT training program is designed to maximize your development; as a result, you will relocate to alternate locations, within Operations, every 12 to 18 months.

Experience and Qualifications Our ideal candidates will be completing their final year of engineering studies, or have a degree in Electrical engineering, must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, and will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
