Overview SaskPower is looking for an Engineer, Plant Services responsible for assisting with and/or providing engineering support related to the electrical and control systems within SaskPower's generation facilities. The individual in this role will prepare technical studies, business cases, designs, specifications, tender evaluations, equipment / construction drawings, contract management and project coordination services. The person in this position will be involved with ensuring compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards in general and the protection and control standards (PRC-0nn) in particular.

Experience and Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a dual degree in electrical engineering and computer science. Candidates must be eligible for registration in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. The incumbent must become a registered P.Eng after accumulating sufficient engineering experience. A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered. A pending or recent B.Sc. graduate may also be considered.
