We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Fleet Services group with Transmission and Distribution. The individual in this position will be responsible for technical services, advice, and information to internal customers and external vendors. Typical duties include creating technical specifications for procurement of new vehicles and equipment, ensuring all new and existing vehicles and equipment conform to applicable Saskatchewan, Canadian and SaskPower standards, and providing engineering support for vehicle and equipment modification and repairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and updating vehicle permits and related agreements and will also be required to update and distribute Standard Operating Procedures related to vehicles and equipment.

Experience and Qualifications Your specialized history includes a university degree in mechanical or industrial systems engineering. You must be eligible for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. You are known for strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills and have the unique ability to develop innovative solutions to problems.
