Mechanical Engineering Technologist - PFM Packaging

Overview

PFM Packaging Machinery Corporation located at 1271 Ringwell Drive, L3Y 8T9 Newmarket , Ontario is seeking a professional with engineering background for the position of Engineering Technologist. The position requirements are: - Familiarity with engineering principles and good manufacturing practices in the field of packaging machinery manufacturing
- Desktop editing and publishing for the creation of operator and parts manuals as well as service and maintenance manuals
- Excellent command of French and English languages including specific technical terminology and idioms
- Practical knowledge of Spanish and Italian languages a definitive asset
- Basic knowledge of AutoCad 2D and Inventor 3D for the incorporation of engineering drawings in the manuals and for part detailing.
- Proficiency in word processing, Excel, Power Point and Access This is a permanent position with an estimated annual salary of $35,000 and with competitive medical and dental coverage.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French Desktop editing/publishing for the creation of operator and parts manuals and service maintenance manuals. Excellent use of French and English languages, specific technical terminology and idioms.
