Summer Youth Program Director - Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club

Overview

The Ottawa Lions Track & Field Club is seeking to hire a person to direct and promote its Summer Youth Programs. This position offers 14 weeks of employment in Ottawa, Ontario working with the Ottawa Lions Track & field Club.

Responsibilities

Duties include promotion and marketing of our Summer Youth Programs, development of a new Youth Parasport program, and working as a member of our Summer Camp staff, with special responsibility for Parasport athletes.

Experience and Qualifications

The position is open to university or college students. Preference will be given to candidates with a kinesiology, physical education, sports management or recreation academic background and with experience or training in marketing and Sports promotion. Candidates must demonstrate experience and background in Track & Field, basic word-processing skills, knowledge of both French and English, and experience working with children aged 6-14. Candidates must supply a valid Police Check and must complete a First Aid Course.
