Its academic programs prepare students for in-demand careers in today's global economy, in areas such as architecture and design; arts and sciences; education; engineering and computing sciences; health professions; management; and osteopathic medicine. New York Institute of Technology is seeking an adjunct faculty for its campus in Vancouver B.C. to offer instruction in its Master of Science in Information, Network and Computer Security, beginning March 3, 2014. Although the initial appointment may be on an "adjunct" (sessional) basis, the position could lead to a full-time faculty appointment.

Experience and Qualifications The successful applicant should have a doctoral degree in Computer Science or a closely-related field (from an accredited institution) with a specialization in system security issues. Applicants with an appropriate ABD doctoral candidate status will also be considered. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada will be given priority. NYIT is an AA/EEO institution.
