Overview Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens' Services - Victoria Chief Records Officer - Logistics and Business Services Division Temporary assignment to September 30, 2016 - a permanent appointment may result from assignment. The mission of the Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens' Services is to grow British Columbia's technology sector, champion innovation and enable delivery of cost effective, accessible and responsive services to citizens and the public sector. Shared Services BC, Service BC and Office of the Government's Chief Information Officer are part of the ministry. The Chief Records Officer (CRO) will deliver on government's commitment to transform information management into the digital age through the implementation of the Information Management Act. The CRO will initially lead the development of the implementation plan and the roadmap for success. The role will necessarily be a "change agent" in order to implement the cultural change across Ministries and the broader public sector, as required. This is a key management position in the ministry and is expected to contribute to the overall leadership and success of the Logistics and Business Services Division. The successful candidate is a strategic and innovative thinker with extensive experience linked directly to the management of activities of records management and/or archives. You have experience developing and leading a comprehensive and broad reaching change management initiative and progressive leadership experience setting the strategic vision and plan, implementing the plan and achieving results.
