Overview Provincial Coordinator, French Programs Victoria BC Salary $63,833.99 to $73,013.78 annually The Provincial Coordinator is accountable for the delivery of the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) Pan Canadian Official Languages Programs, the B.C. - Quebec Exchange Program, and the Provincial Official Languages Bursaries. The Provincial Coordinator also participates, in conjunction with the Director, in the development and implementation of the Canada-British Columbia Agreement on Minority-Language Education and Second Official-Language Instruction, which includes Francophone, French Immersion, and Core French Programs. The coordinator provides expertise related to current programs and policies. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be fully bilingual (able to read, write, speak, comprehend and otherwise interact in French and English). - Has an in-depth understanding of Francophone, French Immersion, and Core French programs.

Experience and Qualifications To be considered for this position your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have the following: Bachelor's degree in education or related social science discipline plus 3 years experience (preferably in the last 5 years) in an education related field; or graduate studies in Education, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in effective project management; planning and supervision and leading of projects. Preference may be given to applicants who have experience teaching in the K-12 system.
