Responsibilities Job Description The Housekeeping Manager is directly responsible for all resort Housekeeping activities, ensuring the department functions are being maintained and the highest level of service is being provided for our clientele. This position involves performing Housekeeping Department administrative functions, assigning staff to specific duties and tasks, and implementing housekeeping operations policies and procedures. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for hiring all housekeeping staff and the supervision thereof. The successful candidate will be expected to provide world-class customer service to clients with very high expectations. Work flow is highly seasonal and requires a flexible and adaptive schedule.

Experience and Qualifications 1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position. 2. 5-10 years experience in housekeeping. 3. 5-10 years experience as a supervisor. 4. Outstanding leadership and management capabilities including a proven ability to work in a dynamic and challenging work environment. 5. Attention to detail and personal integrity. 6. Attributes include strong interpersonal skills, organization, self-motivated, assured, persuasive and positive personal image. 7. Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization. 8. High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure. 9. Experience training, evaluating, and developing staff.
